United Parcel Service, Inc. is an American multinational shipping and supply-chain management company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in Seattle in 1907 by James E. Casey as a messenger and delivery service. It grew through the twentieth century into the world's largest package delivery company by volume, operating a global network of ground and air transport recognizable by its brown delivery trucks and its longstanding shield logo.
