Frosted Flakes is a breakfast cereal of sugar-coated corn flakes introduced by Kellogg's in the United States in 1951, originally under the name Sugar Frosted Flakes before the word sugar was dropped from the name in 1983. The cereal has carried the mascot Tony the Tiger and the catchphrase They're Gr-r-reat! since its debut, and ranked as the second best-selling cereal in the United States by gross sales in the first half of 2017, behind Honey Nut Cheerios. Since a 2023 corporate spinoff the brand is produced by WK Kellogg Co in North America and the Caribbean and by Kellanova elsewhere, and it has been extended into chocolate, cinnamon and banana flavor variants in different markets.
