Budweiser is a pale lager beer first brewed in the United States in 1876 by Adolphus Busch and Carl Conrad, and produced today by Anheuser-Busch, part of the multinational Anheuser-Busch InBev group. For much of the 20th and early 21st centuries it was the best-selling beer brand in the United States, is heavily associated with American sporting-event and Super Bowl advertising, and a separate Czech beer of the same regional name (Budejovicky Budvar) has been the subject of a long-running international trademark dispute with the American brand.
