Wharf Holdings Limited is a Hong Kong property investment and development company headquartered in Hong Kong, controlling major retail, office and hotel assets including the Harbour City and Times Square complexes. Its corporate lineage traces to the Hong Kong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Company, founded in 1886 to operate dockside warehousing on the Kowloon waterfront, which evolved over the twentieth century into a diversified property and infrastructure conglomerate under the control of the Woo family. Wharf was reorganized in 2017 when its mainland Chinese property and hotel interests were spun off into a separate listed company, Wharf Real Estate Investment Company, leaving Wharf Holdings focused primarily on its flagship Hong Kong investment properties and remaining mainland developments. The company remains one of Hong Kong's most prominent property and retail landlords.
