Warsteiner is a German brewery founded in 1753 by farmer Antonius Cramer in Warstein, North Rhine-Westphalia, and has remained under continuous Cramer family ownership since, currently led by CEO Eva-Catharina Cramer. Described as Germany's largest privately owned brewery, it ranks fifth among the country's best-selling breweries, producing 2.34 million hectolitres in 2015 across styles including pilsener, dark lager, wheat beer and non-alcoholic varieties. Its flagship Warsteiner Premium Verum is exported to more than 60 countries, with all North American product manufactured at the German headquarters.
