Virgin Group Ltd. is a British multinational venture and branding conglomerate founded by Richard Branson, growing out of the Virgin Records music label he started in the 1970s. Operating under the Virgin brand and its red-and-white logo, the group has licensed or held stakes in businesses spanning air travel (Virgin Atlantic), telecommunications and media (Virgin Media), health clubs (Virgin Active) and space tourism (Virgin Galactic), among many others.
