Vår Energi AS

Vår Energi AS is a Norwegian oil and gas company headquartered in Stavanger. It was established in 2018 through a merger of Eni Norway and Point Resources, and is publicly traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange with Eni as its largest shareholder. The company explores for and produces oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf, and following its 2019 acquisition of ExxonMobil's upstream Norwegian assets for 4.5 billion US dollars, it became the second largest operator on the Norwegian continental shelf behind Equinor. It operates several producing fields and holds interests in a number of non-operated fields in the North Sea and Barents Sea.
