Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi, known as VakifBank, is the second largest bank in Turkey by asset size, headquartered in Umraniye, Istanbul. It was established on January 11, 1954 and began operations on April 13 of that year, and it now operates nine hundred fifty branches domestically along with six foreign branches and subsidiaries across ten countries. The Turkey Wealth Fund is its owner, and the bank trades on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker VAKBN.
