United News of Bangladesh is a privately owned Bangladeshi news agency founded in 1988 by Enayetullah Khan. Headquartered in Dhaka, it describes itself as the first fully digitized private wire service in South Asia and maintains correspondents in every district of the country. The agency collects domestic and international news and holds exchange agreements with major foreign wire services including the Associated Press, Xinhua and Kyodo.
