UNIQA Insurance Group

UNIQA Insurance Group AG is one of the largest insurers in Central and Eastern Europe, headquartered at the UNIQA Tower in Vienna and established in 1999. The company operates roughly 40 subsidiaries across 14 countries, serving about 17 million customers through segments organized as UNIQA Austria, UNIQA International and UNIQA Reinsurance, and trades on the Vienna Stock Exchange under the ticker UQA. In 2019 UNIQA reported premiums written of 5.37 billion euros and employed about 13,038 full time equivalent staff, under chief executive Andreas Brandstetter, who has led the company since 2011.
