Ultranet, also known as UltraNet Communications, was an internet service provider operating in Massachusetts. RCN Corporation acquired it on 21 January 1998 as part of a combined deal that also included Erol Internet, Interport and JavaNet, folding the regional providers into its own growing internet service business. Ultranet ceased to exist as an independent company after the acquisition.
