Tyson Foods, Inc. is an American multinational meat processing company headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas, founded in 1935 by John W. Tyson, who began by hauling live chickens to market. It grew into one of the largest processors and marketers of chicken, beef and pork in the world, selling products under the Tyson brand and others to retail and food-service customers.
