The Turkmenistan State News Agency, commonly known by its initials TDH, is the state owned news agency of Turkmenistan, headquartered on Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue in Ashgabat. It traces its origins to 1924 as the Telegraph Agency of Turkmenistan and was reestablished under its current name in 1991, publishing news and analysis on the country's political, economic, cultural and sporting life. The agency is owned by the government of Turkmenistan and distributes its reporting in Turkmen, Russian and English.
