AB Transitio is a Swedish rail leasing company owned jointly by Sweden's regional public transport authorities. Its main role is to procure, finance and manage rail vehicles for regional and commuter rail services across Sweden, a model meant to let its owners avoid the high cost and long delivery times of buying trains directly and to standardise rolling stock between operators.
