Towle Silversmiths is an American manufacturer of sterling silver flatware and hollowware, established in 1690 in Newbury, Massachusetts, by silversmith William Moulton II. The firm passed through several generations and partnerships before being incorporated as Towle and Jones in 1857 and later adopting the Towle name. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1986, was acquired by Syratech Inc. in 1990, and has been owned by Lifetime Brands, Inc. since 2006.
