Thwaites Brewery is a regional brewery and pub operator established in 1807 in Blackburn, Lancashire, by Daniel Thwaites, remaining under the founding family's leadership through most of its history and growing to run about 270 pubs across northern England by the early 2000s. The company sold most of its brewing operations, including the Wainwright and Lancaster Bomber brands, to Marston's in 2015 for 25.1 million pounds, demolished its original Blackburn brewery site in 2019, and now runs a smaller-scale craft brewery alongside its pub and hotel estate.
