Telekom Malaysia Berhad

Telekom Malaysia Berhad, known as TM, is a Malaysian telecommunications company whose roots trace to the Malaysian Telecommunications Department, established on April 1, 1946, following the formation of the Malayan Union. The department was corporatised on January 1, 1987 to form Telekom Malaysia Berhad, which was listed on Bursa Malaysia on November 7, 1990. TM began as the national provider of fixed line, radio and television broadcasting services and has grown into the country's largest provider of broadband, data, fixed line, pay television and network services, employing more than 28,000 people with a market capitalisation exceeding RM25 billion, and is a constituent of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI.
