Stellantis is a multinational automotive manufacturer formed in 2021 through the merger of the French PSA Group and Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the latter itself created by the merger of Italy's Fiat S.p.A. and the United States-based Chrysler completed between 2009 and 2014. Headquartered in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, the company designs, manufactures and markets vehicles under fourteen brands, including Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and Maserati, and at the time of its formation employed roughly 300,000 people across manufacturing operations in thirty countries.
