Sohonet is a community-of-interest network for the television, film and media production community, based in the Soho area of London and founded in 1995 by a group of post-production companies. It links many British film studios to London's post-production community and provides internet access and private wide-area links to other countries, connecting film and media companies, broadcasters, publishers, internet providers, graphic designers and recording studios through fibre links to a global media network spanning the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and several European countries plus Singapore. Leading British studios including Pinewood, Shepperton, Three Mills, Twickenham, Longcross and Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden connect directly to the Sohonet London Fibre Ring, alongside international studios such as Village Roadshow Studios and Hollywood Center Studios.
