SK Innovation is a South Korean intermediate holding company within the SK Group, headquartered in Seoul and established in 2007, operating in petroleum, alternative energy and oil exploration. It conducts business through six major subsidiaries, SK Energy, SK Geo Centric, SK On, SK Incheon Petrochem, SK IE Technology and SK Earthon, and trades on the Korea Exchange, with parent company SK Inc holding about a 34.45 percent stake.
