Sheepdrove Organic Farm

Sheepdrove Organic Farm is an organic agricultural business and event venue near Lambourn, on the Oxfordshire and West Berkshire border in England, founded in the late 1990s by Juliet and Peter Kindersley and certified by the Soil Association. Spanning about 900 hectares, it combines organic crop and livestock production with an on site butchery, herb growing and biodiversity projects such as its rare butterfly conservation work, and the Sheepdrove Event Venue, opened in 2004, which won a Civic Trust award for sustainable architecture; its owners drew public attention in 2001 by challenging the UK government handling of the foot and mouth disease outbreak.
