The Seth Thomas Clock Company was an American clockmaker founded in 1813 by Seth Thomas in Plymouth Hollow, Connecticut, later incorporated as the town of Thomaston in 1875. It manufactured longcase, mantel, wall, and table-top clocks, as well as clock movements supplied to other manufacturers. The original manufacturing operation ceased on January 16, 2009, and the brand returned to business later that year under new ownership, with clocks now produced by another manufacturer under the Seth Thomas name.
