Screen Media Ventures was an American-Canadian film distribution company founded in 2001 in New York City that later relocated its headquarters to Toronto, Canada. It acquired and released independent films across theatrical, DVD and digital formats and partnered with nonprofit organizations on social initiatives tied to its film projects. Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment acquired the company in 2017, and Screen Media was liquidated in July 2024 after its parent filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, with its film library subsequently sold to Magnolia Pictures.
