Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Equipment, trading as SBO AG, is an Austrian engineering company headquartered in Ternitz, Lower Austria, that specializes in manufacturing high precision components and equipment, including drill bits and downhole tools, for oil and gas exploration and production. Founded in 1988, the company originated as a division of the Schoeller-Bleckmann steelmaking group, which had been nationalized in 1946, and was separated from its parent between 1993 and 1997; it now operates a subdivision called Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Technology. SBO is a member of the Austrian Traded Index, trades on the Vienna Stock Exchange under the ticker SBO, and reported revenue of 560.4 million euros in 2024.
