Schmohz Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom in Grand Rapids, Michigan, run by owner and brewer Jim Schwerin alongside Gabi Palmer, who served as head brewer until August 2021; both are alumni of Michigan Technological University. Schmohz holds a Michigan microbrewery license and sells its beer in stores, bars and restaurants around the state in addition to its taproom, which features 16 taps of standard and seasonal beers alongside a root beer soda. Its Treasure Chest ESB won a gold medal at the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championship. The company added a biergarten in 2009, and in 2018 opened a second taproom inside a pizzeria in Petoskey, Michigan.
