S-Oil Corporation is a petroleum and refinery company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, established in 1976 as the Iran Korea Petroleum Company reflecting early cooperation between Iranian and South Korean interests. It produces petroleum products, petrochemicals and lubricants from its Onsan Refinery in Ulsan, which had a processing capacity of about 650,000 barrels per day as of 2016, and was ranked 441st on the Fortune Global 500 in 2009. The Saudi state oil company Saudi Aramco holds a 63.45 percent majority stake, with the remaining shares trading on the Korea Exchange, and the company reported 34.4 billion dollars in revenue in 2023.
