Royal Unibrew A/S is a brewing and beverage company headquartered in Faxe, Denmark, trading on Nasdaq Copenhagen under the ticker RBREW, producing beer and beverages under Danish brands including Ceres, Faxe, Albani, Thor and Karlens while also distributing international brands such as Heineken and Pepsi in Denmark, with significant operations in the Baltic region, Finland and France. It was formed in 1989 through the merger of the Faxe, Ceres and Thor breweries, initially operating as Bryggerigruppen; the Odense based Albani brewery joined in 2000, and the company took the Royal Unibrew name in 2005. Since then it has expanded through acquisitions across Eastern Europe and other regions, building a wide network of brewing operations.
