Rippling is a privately held software company headquartered in San Francisco, California, founded in 2017 by Parker Conrad and Prasanna Sankar to provide cloud-based human resources and business management software. Its core product is a cloud-based platform that lets businesses manage human resources, finance and information technology matters together, supplemented by artificial intelligence features for automating administrative work and producing analytical insights. As of 2025 Rippling employed approximately 5,000 people across offices in California, Ireland, the United Kingdom, India and Australia, and had raised a total of 1.85 billion dollars in funding, including a 450 million dollar round in May 2025 that valued the company at 16.8 billion dollars.
