Redeia Corporacion, S.A. is the renamed holding company of Red Electrica de Espana, a Spanish electricity transmission business established in 1985 and headquartered in Alcobendas. It operates as a partly state owned corporation that manages the national electricity grid in Spain, and also holds transmission assets in Peru, Chile and Brazil. The state holding company SEPI controls about 20 percent of the business, with the rest trading publicly on the Bolsa de Madrid under the ticker REE.
