Radeberger Brewery is a German brewery in Radeberg, Saxony, founded in 1872 by a group of five local backers and specializing in Pilsner-style beer; it claims to be the first brewery in Germany to brew exclusively in the Pilsner style and still operate today. It brewed beer for the King of Saxony and was granted the honorary title "Kanzler-Brau" by Otto von Bismarck in 1887. Today it ranks among Germany's ten best-selling beers and is owned by the Radeberger Group, itself controlled by Dr. Oetker.
