Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power Limited, known as QATPL, is a power generation company wholly owned by the government of Punjab, Pakistan. It owns and operates the Bhikki power plant, a 1,180 megawatt combined-cycle plant near Sheikhupura in Punjab that runs on regasified liquefied natural gas using GE H-class gas turbines. Construction began in 2016 and the plant reached commercial operations in May 2018, one of several plants Punjab's government built using its own resources to address electricity shortages in Pakistan.
