Qt Group Plc is a Finnish software company headquartered in Espoo, founded on March 4, 1994 as Trolltech by Eirik Chambe-Eng and Haavard Nord. It develops and oversees the Qt framework, a multi platform graphical user interface toolkit written in C++ used to build applications for mobile devices, desktops and embedded systems in automotive, consumer electronics and industrial settings. The company trades on Nasdaq Helsinki under the ticker QTCOM and serves roughly 1.5 million developers in more than 180 countries.
