PPB Group Berhad is a Malaysian diversified conglomerate engaged in food production, agriculture, waste management, film distribution, and property investment and development. It was established in 1968 as Perlis Plantations Berhad by Robert Kuok to cultivate and process sugar cane in Perlis, went public in 1972, and today its largest business segment is flour milling through subsidiary FFM, Malaysia's top flour miller, alongside cinema operations through Golden Screen Cinemas and environmental engineering through Chemquest. PPB also holds an 18 percent stake in Singapore-based Wilmar International, making it the largest shareholder in one of the world's leading palm oil producers, and the Kuok family holds a controlling 50.81 percent of the company, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia.
