Power Assets Holdings Limited, formerly Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited, is a vertically integrated electric utility holding company established in 1976 and headquartered in Hong Kong. It maintains majority control of the Hongkong Electric Company, one of two electricity suppliers in Hong Kong, and holds investment stakes in power networks in Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada as well as renewable facilities in mainland China. The company trades on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is part of the Hang Seng Index, with CK Infrastructure Holdings, controlled by the Li Ka-shing business empire, holding a 38.87 percent stake.
