The Philippine Information Agency is the state news and information agency of the Philippines, created on December 24, 1986 by Executive Order No. 100 under President Corazon Aquino to replace the National Media Production Center. Operating under the Presidential Communications Office, it serves as the main arm for public information dissemination by the Philippine government and runs a nationwide network of provincial branches, employing 374 people as of 2024.
