The Nepal Railway Company Limited, founded in 1927 by Chandra Shumsher and headquartered in Janakpur, is a state-owned company operating under Nepal's Department of Railways that provides passenger train service in the country. It is Nepal's only train service provider, currently operating the Jaynagar-Bardibas line, a 52-kilometer route running from Jainagar in India to Bhangaha in Nepal.
