National Steel Corporation was a Philippine steelmaker whose main facility, the Iligan integrated steel mill founded in 1952, was at one time considered the largest steel mill in Asia. The plant operated for 57 years before ceasing operations in 2009, after which the roughly 400 hectare site passed to the ownership of the Iligan City government by 2016. Revival efforts began in 2025 under the administration of President Bongbong Marcos, with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and the local government seeking investors to restart operations as of February 2026.
