Fundicion Tipografica Nacional, known in English as Nacional Typefoundry, was Spain leading type foundry, established in Madrid in 1915. It designed and manufactured typefaces, becoming known for bold art deco designs, and worked with designers including Carlos Winkow and Enric Crous-Vidal to produce more than two dozen typefaces, among them Nacional, Iberica and Ilerda. The company operated independently for 56 years before it was acquired in 1971 by Fundicion Tipografica Neufville of Barcelona, ending its separate existence.
