Myanmar Now is a Myanmar based news agency publishing bilingual Burmese and English reporting through an online news portal, founded in August 2015 by the Thomson Reuters Foundation to support independent journalism ahead of Myanmar's 2015 general election. Its reporting is republished by a network of more than 50 national and local media outlets, and as of 2019 it employed about 30 journalists reaching an audience of more than 350,000 readers, focusing on investigative coverage of corruption, child labor, human rights violations and social justice issues. It is headquartered in Pabedan Township, Yangon, and after Myanmar's 2021 military coup it faced raids on its offices and revocation of its operating license.
