Metrovias S.A. is an Argentine privately held enterprise established on 1 January 1994 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, majority owned (90 percent) by Grupo Roggio. The company operates the metropolitan services of the Urquiza Line commuter rail system, and originally managed both the Urquiza Line and the Buenos Aires Underground subway system from 1995 until December 2021, when the related entity Emova Movilidad S.A. assumed control of the subway operations under a 12 year concession agreement; Metrovias maintains approximately 4,500 employees and continues as a key transit operator in the Buenos Aires region.
