Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is an American producer of construction aggregates headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, established in 1993 when Martin Marietta Corporation spun off its natural resources business as an independent public company shortly before Martin Marietta Corporation itself merged with Lockheed in 1995 to form Lockheed Martin. It supplies crushed stone, sand, gravel and cement used in highway, building and infrastructure construction, and is one of the largest aggregates producers in the United States.
