Magnum Photos is an international photographic cooperative founded in 1947 by photographers including Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger and David "Chim" Seymour, with offices in cities including New York, Paris and London. Owned and governed by its own photographer-members rather than outside shareholders, it has been one of the most influential organizations in the history of photojournalism, licensing and archiving decades of documentary and editorial photography.
