M&G plc is a global investment manager headquartered in the City of London, tracing its origins to 1931 when Municipal & General Securities Company Limited launched the First British Fixed Trust. The business remained part of Prudential plc until it was demerged into an independently listed company in October 2019. M&G trades on the London Stock Exchange as a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
