Little Caesars is a privately held American multinational pizza restaurant chain founded in Garden City, Michigan in 1959 by Mike and Marian Ilitch under the original name Little Caesar's Pizza Treat, and now headquartered in Detroit under parent company Ilitch Holdings. The chain, known for value priced pizza sold primarily for carryout, operates thousands of restaurants across Asia, Europe, North America and South America and ranks as the third largest pizza chain in the United States by total sales, behind Domino's and Pizza Hut.
