Larian Studios is a Belgian independent video game developer and publisher founded in 1996 by Swen Vincke and headquartered in Ghent, Belgium. The studio focuses primarily on role-playing games and is best known for the Divinity series, beginning with Divine Divinity in 2002, and for Baldur's Gate 3. Larian has grown to operate studios in six other countries, including Canada, Ireland, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Spain and Poland.
