Lakefront Brewery, Inc. is a brewing company in the Beerline B neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, established in 1987 by brothers Russ and Jim Klisch. It pioneered post-Prohibition fruit beer bottling in the United States with its Lakefront Cherry Lager in 1992, became the nation's first certified organic brewery in 1996, and developed New Grist, the first gluten-free beer certified in the United States, after petitioning federal regulators; the brewery also offers tours, a beer hall serving German style food, and a presence at Milwaukee's Summerfest festival.
