Kubota Corporation is a Japanese company headquartered in Osaka, founded in 1890 by Gonshiro Kubota, originally as an iron casting foundry making water pipes. Kubota grew into one of the world's leading makers of agricultural machinery, particularly compact and utility tractors, combines and rice transplanters, and it is also a major manufacturer of water and environmental infrastructure equipment, including pipes, pumps and water treatment systems, giving the company a business that spans both farm equipment and municipal infrastructure.
