KPMG is a British multinational professional services network headquartered in London, formed in 1987 through the merger of KMG, Klynveld Main Goerdeler, and Peat Marwick International, with its name drawn from Klynveld, Peat, Marwick and Goerdeler. It is one of the Big Four accounting firms alongside Deloitte, EY and PwC. As of December 2024 KPMG operates as a network of 46 member firms across 145 countries employing 275,288 people, generated 38.4 billion US dollars in revenue that year across financial audit, tax and consulting work, and is led by global chairman and chief executive Bill Thomas.
