It owns three main brands: Kathmandu, a technical outdoor clothing brand founded in Christchurch in 1987; Oboz, a hiking and trail running footwear brand acquired in 2018; and Rip Curl, a global surf brand acquired in 2019. The company serves customers mainly in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom, and is dual listed on the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges.
