Kenmare Resources

Kenmare Resources plc is a publicly traded mining company incorporated in Ireland in 1972 and headquartered in Dublin, listed on both the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin. It is one of the world's largest mineral sands producers, operating the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine in Mozambique, about 160 kilometres from Nampula, which began production in 2007 and commercial operations in 2009. The mine extracts ilmenite and rutile, titanium feedstocks used mainly to manufacture titanium dioxide pigment for paper, paint and plastics, along with zircon and other mineral sands concentrate as secondary products; Kenmare supplies about 8 percent of global titanium feedstock output, making it the world's fourth-largest producer in the category.
